Privacy and security are two cornerstones of doing business over the Internet.  Hometown Lenders, Inc. is dedicated to safeguarding the personal information you give us.

The goal of this privacy statement is to disclose Hometown’s data protection practices in relation to personal information collected at Hometown’s Internet websites. Please note that this in some cases Hometown’s websites may contain links to other sites and Hometown is not responsible for the privacy practices of such sites. In the context of this privacy statement, “personal information” includes name, title, business address, telephone number, and e-mail of an employee of an organization. Hometown can also hold customer information pertaining to “mortgage holders,” “prospects,” and “partners.” This information can contain the following information – borrower name, co-borrower name, date of birth for borrower and co-borrower, home mailing address, work mailing address, property address, home phone number, e-mail address, company name, company address, company URL, lender license number, and credit card information at the time of an order.

Safeguarding your personal information is good business — it helps foster confidence, goodwill and stronger relationships with you, our customers. Hometown may employ other companies or individuals, including Volly for technology and marketing automation services, who may have access to personal information needed to perform functions on our behalf, but who will not use this information for other purposes; and in the unlikely event that Hometown, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, subscriber information will be one of the transferred assets.

Consent. We will obtain your consent for the collection, use or disclosure of personally identifiable information, except under the following circumstances:

Our Web servers, as configured and maintained by Volly, collect and track IP addresses and resolve them to a domain name, but we do not collect personally identifiable information unless we explicitly ask you to provide it. Some pages in our Web sites ask you to provide personal information to order a product or service. When this information is requested, you will be asked to complete a form and return it to us. The type of information we ask you to provide will vary according to the product or service that you request. The choice to share this information is always yours, but if you choose to withhold it, you will not be able to access certain resources. In addition, we sometimes collect non-identifiable information from visits to our websites to help us provide better customer service. Use of Cookies. Parts of our websites use “session cookies” for the purpose of authenticating the user. 205 ILCS 635/2-9 Posting of license
The license of a licensee whose home office is within the State of Illinois or of an out-of-state licensee shall be conspicuously posted in every office of the licensee located in Illinois. Out-of-state licensees without an Illinois office shall produce the license upon request. Licensees originating loans on the Internet shall post on their Internet website their license number and the address and telephone number of the Commissioner. The license shall state the full name and address of the licensee. The license shall not be transferable or assignable. A separate certificate shall be issued for posting in each full-service Illinois office.
